I had a look on google and couldn't find anywhere that supplied sugar beat in the smaller quantities we would be looking at, they all seemed set up for selling in large quantities to farms
If anyone does find a supplier who sells in smaller qty's i would be intereted as well
If there were enough people interested perhaps we could buy and divide it equally. Perhaps you could post websites and we could see what the minimum quantity would be. Sugar beet is used for more than just sugar and is an animal feed. Well worth having on its own.
It certainly is. It can be used to make jam mixed with other fruits. I've heard of it being cooked with fruit as a sweet after a veggie meal. Kenneth Eames.
