i got 2 short(36 inches in length) wooden bows from a house clearance sale...people emigrating...cost me £2 Big Grin
very interesting bow again, from a few videos ive been watching about it, it certainly seems to be well made, robust and a good shooter, but i'll carry on looking at it and seeing what people think about it Smile

Hello, I am the inventor, manufacturer, and retailer of the Compact Folding Survival Bow. Her is a link to the blog with our latest post of the official photographs for the final product we are retailing, http://www.goprimalnow.blogspot.com/
We designed this bow to be tough and withstand the rigors that one may encounter in a survival situation while keeping the design as simple as possible. I actually created a pretty nasty gouge in the upper limb of the second prototype I built, and figured it would be a good function and quality control test for the bow. It has been fired over 1500 times at present and has shown only minor signs of fatigue around the gouge. We used Gordon Composite's Unidirectional E-glass for the limbs. They make the majority of the fiberglass used in the bow industry, and the riser is milled on a CNC machine here locally, near Savannah Georigia U.S.A.
I do not want to spam up this site, so I will be here to answer any questions you may have about the bow, and may later post a thread to update you on product development press releases, and new product additions. To get a beeter understanding of why and how the bow was designed, check out this link, http://www.goprimalnow.com/aboutus.asp
There are also customer reviews and two videos on this page, the 2nd and longest was from our first customer, a gent from the U.K., http://www.goprimalnow.com/Compact_Foldi...cfsb-1.htm.
Let me know if there are any questions, and if there is anything in particular you would like to see posted.
Thanks, Jeffrey Barber
"The more you know, the less you need."-Cody Lundine p.s. Ilike to add the better prepared you are, the longer you last.
will it be available in the UK and how much will it cost?
Jeffrey the bow looks to be a fine piece of kit, hopefully it will be a big seller both sides of the pond, one minor suggestion though because they are made in the US and we are preppers and survivalists on another continent it may be wise to offer to sell it with spare strings and limb tips for overseas sales, dont think anyone even in the US would want to wait a week for a spare string.

Now my own comment has got me thinking, could a bow be strung with coated steel wire like basic compound bows are, that would really make it a survival bow ?
