There's another one i use

1 cup baking soda
5 cups water
6 cups vinegar
essential oil add 20 drops to start with then adjust to your needs

Mixing baking soda and vinegar will have a chemical reaction. It will be like opening a coke can that has been shaken. I use a large bucket to mix it in and then put into smaller containers old fabric softener bottle washed out.

Put the baking soda and the water stirring it around sometimes the crystals will not dissolve completely. Carefully and slowly add the vinegar. Add one cup at a time and stir in until all the vinegar is added. The mixture will bubble and fizz if you don't add the vinegar slowly this is fine. Now add the essential oil of your choice and gentle stir in. Once this is done transfer in to smaller bottles.

Shake well before use, it may get a bit fizzy for the first few times. Use 1/2 to 1 cup of softener for your washer’s rinse cycle.

Hope it helps i've tried both and they work well the vinegar put a deep pile in towels.
