You can make hooch out of loads of things ,buy packets of yeast from your local bew store.
I like to make cider out of champagne yeast ,gives it a nice gas and olny use non consentrate apple juice
Sterelise every thing (bany's milton bottle cleaner is good)that comes in contact with the ingredients or the hooch will turn off and taste sour
I made hooch out of dry toast once ,scrape the toast with a knife to get the crumbs off (thats your yeast) boil and pulp some fruit,add sugar stir and desolve ,add a home made bubler and watch it do its magic !
Bread yeast is my faves though at 69 pence a tub (fast acting yeast)yellow tub,it will make 100'maybe 200 gallons of brew .
