I was just reading about air rifles on a US forum and a couple of kids had posted pics of their " Survival" rifles. Both were Beeman or similar us products but what tickled me was the kids had "survivalized" their rifles with Scope AND a flip up AR15 type rear sight, but one kid had also bound his barrel in a length of paracord and his mates rifle had the shoulder stock bound with paracord as well. What a neat way of taking extra useful paracord with you and protecting your barrel blueing from knocks and scrapes as well!!!

Wow! Never occurred to me to do that. I have made a rifle sling with paracord took forever, but when I buy my new rifle it's getting wrapped. Cheers!
