Set 50 years into the future, an over populated Great Britain is totally reliant on France for its electricity. With spiralling costs and with Britain close to bankruptcy this is no longer a tenable position.

Great Britain's only hope of survival is to go to war and take control of Frances valuable energy resources for themselves.

Film start filming in winter of this year. Ray Winston, Michael Caine. Sounds like it might be quite good.

Not heard about it anywhere else, other than a random email I just got offering me chance to invest in the film Rolleyes

isn't it strange, the only way a country can avoid going bankrupt is to go to war, that's a politicos way of thinking.

War is HUGELY profitable, if you're on the winning side. If you want to find a way to kickstart an economy, go to war. If you want to find a way to damage and screw up or totally collapse an economy, remain in that war, and make sure it's very far away...like how the US and UK currently are behaving.
Could be a scam?

The investment thing sounds very much like a scam. The film does (or did) sound like it's being made, but then that appeared in November 2010 so who knows. Stuff gets canned all the time these days. What happened to the Red Dwarf film that was supposed to come out 10 years ago??
