I've just been reading through Northern Raider's Scenarios - I admit they did send a bit of a chill down the spine.

Has there been any discussion of posting early warnings on this site for any problems looming in Members' areas? I don't mean cut and paste of newspaper articles etc. although that could be useful for local news, I mean reporting any suspicious or troubling behaviour that could give the rest of us a head's up.

Just a thought.

We tried it and unfortunately it just didnt work out, sadly if got overwhelmed with stuff that only had the most tenacious of links to threats. SD spent ages trying to get it to work and all to often he ended up just deleted all sorts of stuff.

So online early warning of developing issues is something we must still do for ourselves. Besides it would only work if members read the forum every day and even then 24 hours may be to late.
