just watching this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQZasbwb9yM and wondering if its worth it. now i know our beach's arnt as well frequented as sunnier places but it could be a relatively cheap way to earn a few quid or maybe even add a little precious metal to your stores if thats your wish

plus metal detectors could probably be picked up pretty cheap at second hand shops or car boot sales

The salt water marshes around the corner from this beach are also riddled with old 303 bullet casings from the second world war, we used regularly dig them up when digging for lugworm.
