Just had an odd thought, how long would you want to survive a really bad event? If an event went on for 3, 4, 5, 10 years, would you want to survive that long?

as long as possible!!(cos I don't fancy the alternative) .

what a stupid question to ask ... survivalists.

I'm with the big lad. For the same reason.

Of course I want to survive, who will organise the peasants to build monuments and Henges

Till I die plus 1 year to tidy up my affairs.

Call the Doc and tell him you are once again wondering if life is worth the effort.

He will tell you to take your pills and get off the freekin' internet!

We prepare so that we can continue to have a quality life. If it's a living hell then we've got it wrong. Even if I wasn't enjoying it myself, I'd still want to be around to help my family for as long as possible.
