well almost another year over and we have all survived .

no world war

no solar storm

no economic breakdown

no plague

no ufo's

no shtf or teotwawki .

ho well maybe next year if were lucky....Huh

ok real point of thread....

do we go on too much about doom and gloom , what are the chances of any of these things happening , should we prep for more realistic events.

weather.

flood.

large strike .

power cuts.

riots.
all these things have happned in my life time
comet strike

nuclear bombs being used to against people

slavery of people

end of a species

ice age

all happened and can happen again

Weather is not likely to cause any real problems for me, it rarely if ever snows down here, sub zero temperatures are also rare.

Flooding, again not an immediate risk to my property, I'm about 100m above sea level (although only a couple of 100 meters from a large tidal river) on top of a hill.

Large strike, again it's unlikely to have a major impact, but I guess it depends on who is striking and why?

Power cuts, again I'm fairly well set up to cope with this.

Riots - not in this area Wink
