The socializing is not based on the place, it s based on the people!
There is a McD 2 miles down the road in the village and each morning it is filled to the brim with old geezers drinking 1/2 price coffee with unlimited refills and talking politics and planning the welfare checks on anyone not showing up on any given morning.
About 20 years back our local cafe closed down due to the owner's illness. One of the guys bought a big electric coffee urn, put it in his garage and we filled that place up every morning at 6:am
No biscuits and gravy though. That was a bummer!
