I've been looking into caching options recently and have been making my own caching trunks that I am going to take out this weekend just as a way to have supplies stocked for camping, or worse...

In my dig for information, I was reading up on a source that mentions some great ideas on caching weapons, as well as community supplies if you've got a group of people that that can have the coordinates and use the cache whenever they're outdoors or for a 'bug out' type scenario.

Does anyone else do this practice? Or will I be the first? Big Grin

Not too sure how to post a link, but I got most of my info from this guide/site: https://thepreppingguide.com/survival-cache-how-to/

Seems American, but it has some great info on caching!
Not sure if you can access this link in UK, but this has free download of US Army manual on caching techniques:

Why do we get all the shoe spam?

At least on American survival sites we get spam for fake IDs, passports and birth certificates.

And don't forget the Russian and Asian mailorder brides!
No need for an Asian or Russian wife at my age, but I sometimes think a well trained Philippine nurse cold be useful!
I speak from bitter experience, a nurse (or doctor if it comes to that) whose primary language is different to yours can be deadly.
I have to deal with that anyway Pete.

I grew up in the southern U.S. and now live in the northern climes. Different dialect and almost a different language!

The real problem is that these folks up here near Ohio do not think they have an accent, and they don't eat grits.

One of my neurologists is a South African and speaks with at thick Afrikaans accent, but is a brilliant doctor. I just nod and ask the nurse what he said.
