Ha! Like that would happen. I reckon the average spoiled 14yr old brat could manage going without food for a couple hours, then those words every mother would love to see erased from the Dictionary would be heard.... "Muum I'm starving." Anyone remember the 1940's house? Those two kids went into meltdown because they had to wait for mealtimes!

I laughed so much watching that series.
The culture shock alone was funny enough for them let alone the foody bit.
