theres an article in new scientist from a while back about what would happen if humanity vanished one day, it would take about 1000 years for our most robust structures to crumble, like the hoover dam, cities would become jungles within 5 or 10 years, with animals reclaiming it all, plants growing everywhere etc Smile

Not watched it yet,but cheers.

Read an article about cheynobyl a few years ago saying how there was an increase wolves,bears and birds of prey living in the area around the zone,and in it because of the lack of humans.

without proper maintenance everything we build crumbles, we really are just a smudge on the landscape Tongue...best things we built, we built thousands of years ago!

yeah without humans to make noise and shoo animals away theres nothing stopping them, few months of no humans and they'll work up the courage to explore everywhere, as you say just like chernobyl
