Is Western Democracy Real or a Facade?
Like I've always said we're as free as they want us to be...

I certainly hope we will, I sure could use a vacation from this silly shit."

Democracy will never exist while elected leaders' remuneration makes it financial suicide to do what's right instead of what gets them re-elected!
Failure to prepare mentally, is preparing to fail totally.

I've always thought democracy is a smoke and mirrors game.

We are under the illusion of freedom and ability to make a choice.

Any country that does not permit free speach cannot be democratic. I have always believed this. But, this is only one item, there are many more to consider, to me, this is the number one item. Once this has been achieved then we are free to have our say. We can then move to the next item on our agenda. Kenneth Eames.

Democracy is a magnificent deception, it makes the population believe they are participating in "their" government. It makes no difference who we/you vote for as the true power behind the curtains, the career civil servants and banking organisations control the country. Politicians come and go, but the machine of government continues to pull the strings behind the scenes.
The democratic process was invented by the very same people who urge your participation in it, you have to follow the rules of the game or you do not have a voice. The very act of voting gives your "consent" and legitimacy to the process, this is why they castigate those who do not vote. TPTB understand that by withdrawing your consent to be represented by people you have no faith in undermines their power.

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb deciding what is for dinner.

Most of the progress of the human race has been done by powerful men in a dictatorship. As soon as we start listening to the weak, the inept and the cowardly we lower our standards and our progress. What progress have we made over the last 30 years? Look at our moral and intellectual standards.

Democracy, like socialism and communism, sounds good in theory but the reality leaves much to be desired. The US republic was the nearest we got to a democratic society but you can see how easily that was destroyed by socialists. It is because people will always leave others to do things for them.

When this cycle collapses, as it must, the survivors will become independant and we will rise again, only for the generations beyond that to do the same again. Something has to break the chain and I think science has the only chance for that.
