RE: Apocalypse later, surf now
AlyBear would buzz off that.
I went surfing for my birthday last August. It sucked!!! I managed to stand up twice and just drifted along a little.
The waves were too small and I was too heavy to get enough speed up for the board to get moving enough for the wave to get me going.
It was crap, boring, and oh such a way to ruin your birthday.
However, I was with AlyBear, and she had the best time ever. We even stayed another day (I sat on the beach BORED) so that she could get another day on the waves.
Being with AlyBear for my birthday, spending that time with her, just being together in such a way was awesome and made it one of the best birthdays ever.
Having said how crap surfing is, I saw a guy kite boarding, which looked insane!!! I want to get a giant kite and give that a go!
