it was noticed at the time the kids loved it and thought it was a big adventure?
it wasn't as hard as you would think different from camping though, when you go camping and the weather turns shit you know you can go home but when you live in a tent and know there's no home it make's you think next time it snows try camping in it (it's fun honest)
living from a tent with a family you learn loads of different things that you forget when your back in a house but i know when the time comes the knowledge we gained will come flooding back
hopefully lol

We did forced marches around the mountains, when it was snowing it used to go sideways.... kinda made you feel like you were the wrong way up.
