Apologies to all if this has already been posted in the forum.

This law, signed on St Patrick's day enabled Martial Law to be enacted by the US Government.

I wonder if the UK Government has also started to write up similar legislation for the UK when TSHTF?

Probably Clare but they just won't publically admit it.

A quick search in TPTB legislation site didn't find anything but if troops are deployed, they'll probably quote some regulation that covers it.

The UK drafted its war laws over 30 years ago.

In the interests of "National Security" and the ambiguous anti-terrorist laws.

Yes, that was the most disturbing news since 9-11. For some hardcore context, see AJ's recent interview with Joel Skousen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUcFn_17JY4

Fully U.S. armed troops patrol Minnesota neighbourhood.

They usually do their training in their camps too.

Now I know this does not affect us in the UK directly but what happens in the USA does, in time, sadly tend to happen here too. (And that's why I think we should keep an eye on what is happening in the USA.)

Most of Europe's forces know how to order a pint here.
British and French troops were training together in Northumberland in February (Source: Sky).
We often saw French and Belgium troops passing through a South coast port going to and from joint exercises years before that.
I know the Dutch have been here from personal experience on joint exercises.
Difference was they were'nt in the open.

The European army is well versed in how the UK works.
Sort of makes you understand why TPTB push the multinational agenda so hard doesn't it.
