Yup, food you grow yerself, grub that is not processed and most beverages in moderation.

Its actually quite fun sorting out better quality nosh for your family, since we got more motivated last year and started growing, Tomatoes, peas, squash, etc, then buying only LOCALLY produced spuds, cabbage, fruit, etc, and started baking , cooking and preserving my family has never been healthier and so well fed.
SD is right , some processed or preserved grub like bacon grill, baked beans, tinned peas, pasta shapes, tinned toms, curry sauces, tinned fruit, soups, pot noodles, etc are actually essential in getting you through the initial part of a disaster. Your storing food to help you get through the first year of a total collapse of society, you just need food that will sustain your family until the sheeple have died off and then you can start to rebuild your life in a more agrarian fashion.
