"BEIJING — Around 1,000 Chinese fishing boats are expected to arrive in waters near the Senkaku Islands claimed by China later Monday, the state-run China National Radio reported, in what may be Beijing's additional countermeasures over Japan's nationalization of the islets."

Aye.

For fishing boats - read = Poor local Fisherman who had no choice in sailing out to this irrelevant island as an excuse for the chinese navy to deploy a few coastguard cutters / frigates to 'protect' them from the mighty japanese naval presence in the area = non-existent. Some unlucky fisherman will be sunk 'somehow' no doubt , and it will become a no-go zone.

Just another excuse to flag-wave and spout rhetoric whilst doing some shady landgrabs...
Trying very hard not to be paranoid.....and it aint getting easier.
