But if Greece leaves the Euro and devalues its money then it will become a really cheap holiday resort again.
Then the economy will be booming and all the other EU countries will want to leave the Euro and EU.
The EU socialists wouldn't want that.
It would destroy their tower of Babel.

In the real world if you are unable to pay for things you have to go without - unless someone is prepared to be generous. I think that never paying for what you need/want eventually wears a bit thin and so supplies dry up. Reneging on deals and constantly wanting more time to pay etc is part of that wearing thin process. Play time is over.
