50lb pistol crossbow - advice please

Does anyone have any experience with the "50lb pistol crossbow" currently selling for ~£15 on Amazon? Are these any use?
I'm hoping it could be used to take small game (such as rabbits) and as a "keep your distance" deterrent in a WROL situation.

They are pretty crap mate, the £15 version tends to be the all plastic version, if you want a pistol bow go for the Tomcat Mk 2 80 pound draw, break action bow, only slightly bigger but more than good enough for bunny bashing and close quarters security. In the archery section W & C posted a good article on simple mods to the 6 1/2 bolts and which version to buy.
