Quick Mix Fix
Hi everyone

As usual, my love of taking hours cooking is greatly lacking!

Just mixed up a load of oats with some peanut butter. Amazingly...It's really nice and will clearly add loads of calories and energy for a prolonged period of time.

This VERY simple mix is easily modified with protein powder, smarties/M&M's, fruit, or stuff like that.

Give it a try and see what you think.

Used to do the same mate.

Chuck some honey or Nutella in and there's a really easy way of digesting the protein powders I despise the taste of!

Mixing oat meal to other meals is something worth trying, oat meal is cheep and lasts for years, yet just a couple of spoonfulls added to a tin of stew will thicken it contents and add valuable calories

Its something we used to do in the Army with the ration pack Oatmeal biscuit,... I tried it the other day to see if it still held good,... and it was ok,.. I think its a good tip to boast the contents of any food store
