The Greeks get democracy

RE: The Greeks get democracy
I'm sure there are big bucks in it for most of our representatives. If not, we would not be in the EU. Think of our members of the European Parliament, extra perks for them. And don't forget the banquets at the big meetings. None of it comes up to my beans in tomato sauce on toast. Kenneth Eames.

RE: The Greeks get democracy
We go through all the BS of getting an E Petition for a referendum on membership of the EU and it is squashed at government level. I totally agree, our so called representatives are not "our's" at all but a collection of grabbers feathering their own nests. We should be getting out of the EU now even if it is not considered "the right time". The Euro is in a deep stall and the effect on all of the economies of all of the EU members when it collapses will be devastating, regardless of whether we have adopted the Euro or not. The UK should be doing all it can to disassociate itself from the EU and the free riders it supports. The argument of fostering trading partners is even more BS - China doesn't seem to do too bad at selling to Europe and as far as I can recall they haven't joined yet, but the way the rules get bent when it suits I wouldn't discount the possibility.

We do 10% of our business in the EU and because of that we pay a fortune to them. Burden 100% of our businesses with useless legislation and lose a lot of freedoms.

The wheels are coming off. The more they shore up the issues the bigger the crash will be. Personally, I'll be pushing for treason charges.

So next time if we all put aside our differences and just for once vote UKIP , that could rattle the buggers.

Certainly UKIP is worth the vote and when we are out of Europe, that is the time to think of other parties, if you are so inclined. Once out of Europe it would be sensible to form other parties that would be truly democratic, possibly parties truly of the people. However, I think it is only my dream, because we will still have the sheep who would be Followers of Tory, Socialist or Liberal. I despair of ever seeing common sense prevailing in this country. I must say, that survivalists seem to be the only people who are truly thinking of true democracy. Kenneth Eames.

a couple of things to be a genius you must have a touch of maddness or so people say and say we are mad so we must all be genius us preppers
and if we start voting for little parties we might end up with another hitler and we repeat history
my son made a suggestion yesterday to me that would work better
if most of our stuff is transported around and we are sick of pay silly high tax on fuel and inflation then if every one just stopped driving around and parked their cars and trucks up and didn't go to work untill the gov change want we did not like
i told him it's a good idea but would not happen because people are cowards and that's why the jews died so some things you can't change unless you are willing to die anyway
he sort of gets it
to win the war, you must be willing to die
