RE: Home Education
Mary,..well done, I also think it is a good move on your part.

I have a very good friend who is a top teacher in a Scottish school,...if there is anything that you are unsure of, and need an answer to,..please PM me and I will ask for you

RE: Home Education
My sister homsechooled her children in Northern Ireland. While NI's education system is very good (highest rate of literacy in the English speaking world), schools are nonetheless training grounds to make children into obedient little serfs, just like elsewhere in the UK. And I still maintain that no school can provide the level of education that a good homeschooling environment can.

Tarrel Thats great stuff, i wasnt too sure about how the scottish system was and those ideas about the days out are good, my other 2 will be wanting out of school at this rate lol

What's the age gap? There could be advantages in home schooling all three. Opportunities for group work, discussions, debates, which you get at school but don't necessarily get if you're being home schooled alone.
Find a resilient place and way to live, then sit back and watch a momentous period in history unfold.

other than that, look at getting him a good financial education. That's something schools don't teach us, but we're sent out to earn it........money. Highly recommend Robert Kiyosaki.
