off topic?

RE: off topic?
This site has always stated the articles must be prepper related. I've not enforced that really but with the amount of posts that end up in arguments and whining I decided enough is enough. There are plenty of blogging sites out there where these posts can be made and commented on. I ran one myself for 5 years until I found;
1) I was repeating the same things, just with the names changed
2) They always degenerated into arguments
3) I was wasting my time

This site is about prepping activities. These news articles do not add anything to our knowledge base nor do they lead to discussions that add to the knowledge base. Many times they degenerate into simply whining about somebody or something that we can do nothing about.

I go to the news sites to read these myself. I don't want to read them here so I am not adding an off topic thread.
