Amateur Extra ticket. I 'm usually on 20 or 40 meters ssb. Rig is a Kenwood TS480SAT with a built-in antenna tuner, connected to commercial power by an Astron 33M power supply and transmitting at 100 watts "barefoot" (yes, I'm too cheap to buy an amplifier) using a Gap Titan DX vertical antenna. For data I'm interfaced into a Dell computer with a Tigertronics Signalink. Nothing fancy but I can generally reach the entire US plus Canada, Mexico, and the various islands in the Carribean.
