I went to the Scythe Fair last year. It's a really nice event, the people, the scale etc and we had wonderful weather. Not sure if we can fit it in this year though.

RE: Scythe Fair 2013
this is for anyone expecting to attend, a friendly reminder its NEXT Sunday folks..1 week away, if you can get their earlier check out ILCHESTER car boot beforehand, come off the A303 at ~Poltimore roundabout (the one with the traffic lights) take the Glastonbury turnoff, then take the Ilchester road-first left at the staggered crossroads, drive ALL the way through the town on the main drag...past the church, out the far end, at the round about on the Yeovil road go RIGHT, take first LEFT then LEFT again into the field. The Scythe Fair starts at 11am and goes on to 11PM, £5 entry per person, free parking in the field...if you or a passenger are disabled show your Blue Badge..disabled parking is available.
