Yes. We have discussed this before. just walking along off the road parallel to it. Either bypass or ambush the ambushers.

Have any of you fellows seen the American movie from a few years back called The Road ?

Everyone watched and discussed it over here for months while missing the theme of the movie in total.

The theme was stated in the last scene of the movie when the rescuer told the child that if he was going to take off on his own he would have to stay off the roads if he intended to survive.

His father had been dragging him along the road system for ten years searching for a better life while dodging cannibals and other dangers.

If you are going to survive post SHTF you have to stay off the roads.

It is one of the first things they teach you in insurgency warfare. If you travel on the road or trail system the enemy WILL get you eventually.

You only go to the road to ambush the enemy and get resupply.

yes i`ve seen the film and got annoyed at time because they put themselves into dangerous situations
