Grumpy,

You need an enforcer for anything to work.

Socialism isn't helping one another. It is dragging everyone down to the same level. Look at every socialist country, which is all of them at the moment and look beyond the top level.

It is always survival of the fittest. We can disguise that for a while with money but socialism always runs out of other peoples money and then it is back. Just like you dry out a house on a flood plain, it just gets wet again, and again, and again.

Trust is earned. Nobody really trusts others all the way anyway. Families fight over inheritance and steal from each other so what hope do strangers have.

Bankers didn't spend our money wastefully. Politicians did. Bankers are like any business they should have been allowed to run them as they see fit and go bust but government, interfered as usual and screwed it up. Politicians owe bankers for taking the rap.

Capitalism is the only way to go. It is why the US is number one but as soon as socialists get in they screw everything up.
