RE: Gathering Intel on growing threats
and should have mentioned earlier, if you read blogs on a regular basis, get a feedly account, like the now closing google reader, it pulls all your blogs into one easy to read page, so you don't have to check 20 or 30 pages a day, to see if they have been updated this week.

Eg I would never willingly risk my family by entering into cooperation with anyone of strong religous persuasion or strong socialist tendancies, and I'm equally sure those folks would not want to share a retreat with me.

Ref your last comment "instead those threads should have been about how we should prepare ourselves against problems caused by the influx of so many people"

But what if that large influx was of people of a similar culture, religion and viewpoint as yourself and moving to an area of low population density and who integrate into the community ( EG as so many Poles and Latvians have done up here). In comparison with waves of people of a faith and culture hostile to your own and moving into areas of high unemployments and not integrating at all, who follow up with demands for special considerations and who erode rights and liberties long fought for and won by your people over many years.

One has to identify threats and assets equally to make sure your preps are thorough and complete.

I do see your argument, and its a good one,.. I can certainly discus and debate the background to any group of people, with anyone, providing I know something to discus,.. but I am not well versed in the ways of other religions

I dont know a lot about how the sun works, or how a CME is formed,.. but I am doing my best to prepare as best I can for one,... In the same way as I dont need to know about a groups religious beliefs in order to protect agains what they might do

We have had a few Eastern Europeans, [ Poles ] move into this area, but not in any great number, but even if it was great numbers of people,.. its still the same,... you dont necessarily need to know the reason why something is happening, just how best to deal with it

Its just one of those things where by you are either interested in the `whys` and `what fors`of something or you are not,..I will always be curious as to why something is happening,.. but I dont need to understand it

I agree that we should be aware. but that is not the point of this site. This site is to discuss how we will prepare for things. There is nothing to debate about the subjects. That is for political sites.

That is another risk and that is not covered by these discussions. It is a risk we are aware of and hanve to amnage ourselves. many religious people will be seeking like minded preppers as they will feel more comfortable. You make your choice but in my experience the worse the situation the more religous peaple are. Just look around.

I agree but in reality there is little difference between a bunch of people coming out of a city regardless of nationality. You prepare for people coming out of the cities who cares what nationality or religion they are?

I agree and we should do so.
