A slingshot Bow is a whole different weapon and a hell of a lot safer than these contraptions BP.

You can legally hunt small game in the UK with a slingshot using ball-bearings.

I am a fan of cattyshack.co.uk and waspslingshots.co.uk

Pick up a packet of 2000 steel bearings from Amazon or Ebay and get practicing. You will need about 500 shots to just get the hang of it and get pretty accurate. But you'll need regular practice and replacement bands too.

I use them regularly when out trapping in case a rabbit pops out or a rat decides to say hello. A small magnetic keyring or something holds them together a quiet whilst moving around. If you think you can just pick one up and will be accurate once TSHTF, then you're an idiot. Practice or you'll be wasting your time. Also, hunting with one is a waste of time. They're great to have on the off chance a rabbit pops out. But learn to snare and trap with a slingshot in your pocket. It's a secondary (opportunity) device and should never be considered a first option for food.

Previously I tried to carry an air pistol and accurately use that for rabbits. Also tried an air rifle. But when setting a trap or snare, they are a hinderance more than anything. Slingshot, in the pocket...that works.
