I came across a list of books on a bushcraft forum and downloaded them. Many basic survival/bushcraft skills have not changed so the 'old' books are as valid now as when written.

The Autumn series of zombie novels by UK author David Moody. In a genre given to talentless writing these novels could almost be in the same poetical class as Cormac Mc Carthy's The Road,but differently rendered.
