I've got an off grid project-or I would if I had the money! Detached 2 bed cottage on Dartmoor...completely OFF the mains-no mains electric, water or drainage! £200,000.

I have just purchased a 1kw wind turbine to go with my 3.8kw solar array, the solar array is linked to the grid, but the turbine will be completely off grid,..I hope it will be up and producing very soon

I would think it would be a lot easier to make a caravan off grid it will be interesting to see how he gets on
