thats exactly the plan i had in mind right down to the 2ltr poly bottles.....i learned this technique 25+ years ago and haven't done it since but i seem to have remembered it perfectly....thanks BP makes a nice refresher.

There is a bit of a write up on their website and also in the latest magazine. When it turns up I'll post an update. I'm hoping its going to be much like the original which is what they are trying to copy right down to the same spec canvas. Different colour though!

I've just ordered one of the cheap ones from ebay....not holding out much hope of it being any good but you never know eh?

It arrived and looks good and well made. Not had a chance to try it yet. Other than the colour it looks and feels very similar to the original ones as far as I remember them. I will add a further post when I've given it a go. Has your Ebay one arrived mo?

Yes mine came Saturday....not tried it yet but it seems broadly similiar to how i remember them but the fabric seams coarser and the stitching looks a bit flimsy but all in all will be worth £7.50 if it works.
