RE: User Experiences
I do think some general moderators and subject specialist moderators would be very beneficial if the forum is to continue to develop, there are some very enthusiastic members who are very keen of issues such as Bushcraft, Radio Comms, Modern weapons, Traditional Weapons, Medical care, Animal husbandry, Vehicles etc. There is some good folks out there so put em to use.

RE: User Experiences
I was thinking more along the line of active members who were passionate about their subjects, like Lightspeed for Comms, Scythe for fieldcraft and wilderness, TartarHorder / Timelord for primitive weapons, Charles for modern weapons, Midnitemos level headed approach for cross the board moderating, theres some good people out there. Devonian for transport etc.

Providing of course them folks actually wanted to I should of course have said (sorry), but I think all would be good at keeping things on topic and on track in the sections they are good at.

RE: User Experiences
Thanks NR, but I'd be a crap moderator, in my opinion.

RE: User Experiences
Lets see what SD says at the end of the consultation, but regarding HL he has said openly he prefers DIFO to here and has only been back once since.

Disagree totally you are mad keen enthusiastic, passionate and highly motivated, I don't have to like you to know you are clearly very well suited to helping drive the forum forward. The forums needs has to rise above personalities that's why someone as contentious and bloody minded as me would be the absolute worst choice and SD as well as me knows that full well. But you are popular, you enjoy your subject matter and already contribute very much, so who better to help stabilise and develop the forum.

RE: User Experiences
if you want to talk about what you had for tea, or what the weather is like or 100 and one uses for a sick chicken, then DIFO is definitely the site for you.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.
