Revisiting my small BOB/GHB

RE: Revisiting my small BOB/GHB
NR, your assessment is exactly why I moved away from the Washington, DC region when I retired, into a small town about 150km west, "outside the moderate damage radius," as we used to say during the Cold War. The downturn in the economy has hit West Virginia hard, and the people here have had more difficulty than communities "inside the Beltway." Still, I prefer the small town living and can live comfortably, but modestly with my pension. I have not sought part time employment, doing only volunteer work, because locals in financial hard times need any job that pays far more than I do. Counting my blessings and helping neighbors as I can.
