RE: terror threat high
Just to be clear, the actual threat level hasn't changed since last August:

https://www.mi5.gov.uk/home/the-threats/...evels.html

No it doesn't affect my life, and I've not been inside of the M25 area for over 20 years, and cannot envisage any reason why I would ever need to. Not so much to do with terror, it's just a bloody awful place, everyone is stressed and the place is noisy, dirty and way way too overcrowded - and that was 20 years ago before the issues with mass immigration in to the South East!

Again public transport is fortunately not something that I use and apart from a few local buses there is no real public transport as such in this area anyway Wink

Must admit I am more alert to things going on around me. I don't go along with the "it will only happen in large cities" reasoning. If an attack can take place in Verviers then it could happen anywhere.

You couldn't pay me to visit London these days.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

No it doesn't bother me at all. The government wants to keep you all afraid and wary, fear is a governments greatest tool allowing the erosion of rights for safety. Just exactly like what is happening now. Since I have cut the government media machine out of my life, No Newspapers, no TV news my quality of mind has improved because I am not constantly searching for "News" to "Inform" me. The newspapers are nothing but the mouthpiece of TPTB, TV is it's twin. They are both tools to keep you afraid of the big bad Wolf, but don't worry the government are here to help you.
London is a shithole and the Luftwaffe should have done a better job.

I blame it all on Blair and Bush, if we hadn't gone into Iraq and removed Saddam and subsequently Afghanistan too I don't believe we would be in this position today.

I have a couple of TV sets that are hooked up to the net. I don't receive a live signal so I don't pay the TV license, I refuse to give my money to a Paedophile protecting government Gobshite of a company. I can watch everything I want and more by using sites such as

http://watchtvlinks.sx/
http://www.viewtelly.com/
http://www.free-tv-video-online.me/internet/

I get a great feeling of well being when I tell the TV Nazis to fuck off I'm not paying to watch your shit.
