RE: nice axe
I hate to ask this question, but do you fellows mean to say your British woods is not full of lovely young women wearing minimal outer garments ?

No wonder there is so little wilderness in your area and so few people engaged in bushcraft!

We have vast tracks of public wilderness land set aside just so this species will have room to frolic and flourish.

systematically hunted to extinction over here unfortunately.

All that's left now are chubby female gap-tooth troglodytes mooching around the woods screeching like banshees.

RE: nice axe
Now this is an AxeBig Grin

Cold Steel are an American company with a reputation for overly built weapons with an eye for toughness as opposed to authentically recreating Medieval weapons. They occasionally make a weapon that is a Gem. The 1796 Light Cavalry Sabre is one, and this Viking Axe is another. Superbly forged with a paper sharp cutting edge and thin cross section just like a fighting Axe should have, you don't chop would with this Axe, no way.

"that should be Wood, not would" where's the fkin edit key doh

I think you may struggle to find that at B&Q, try a local 'commercial' plumbing supplies, or engineering supplies company.

Someone like PTS, BSS, BES etc

Cheers D, handy links. I'd rather pay cash though. I'll find something locally I should think.
