Hey, we've all got a 1 in 1000 chance ! Definitely worth prepping for. LOL.

Chances are my whole family and everyone I've ever known will be dead, in my town there will be three more people somewhere, they could be old, young, able or crippled - I don't think I'd be losing any sleep over the danger of them robbing me when there will be spare stuff everywhere you look.

With only 6500 people in the whole country you could do what you want really, with such low numbers people would naturally try to find one another as humans are pack animals. Given such low numbers any survivors would have ample supplies and opportunities to survive, in an ironic way it would be the best start a new population could have, there wont be any competition for resources from hordes of starving people.
