Possible trouble in Portugal
It appears the socialist left and the communists in Portugal have set aside their differences and agreed to cooperate in forming a government. In the election 3 weeks ago the right pro EU pro austerity party formed the government with a tiny percentage of the vote because no other parties could unite.

So today two left wing parties have teamed up and agreed to create a government and they have a LARGE DEMOCRATIC majority.

The Portugese president has intervened and BANNED the DEMOCRATICALLY elected parties from forming a government because they are anti EU.

There are already rumblings about big trouble if the will of the people is not respected.

Rather there than here, but it shows that democracy can be damned when we don't Do what the elites want.

Hopefully it will serve as a message for the rest, as well as all that globalisation and smart phones meaning we have to import the Middle East directly into Europe merkel is spouting.
