Just a bit of a ramble for your enlightenment.

As a large nation the US is extremely regional and the different regions have a good deal of suspicion for each other, as much as for foreigners. It is a hold over from our Civil War and the genocide it spawned.

Got the roof patch done.

I ran a 75cm strip for 3m and nailed the he!! out of it, them smeared roofing tar all over the nails and overlap seam. That stuff is nasty! It takes a bath in petrol to get it off. Whatever you wear is ruined.

It took me longer to get the gear together and up on the roof than it took to do the repair.

It is done, the cleanup is done, the aspirin are taken and the hard earned pizza reward is gobbled down.

Hopefully I will not have any more brushes with tornadoes for a while.

As the PM conversations with some folk have mentioned, I'm too old fir this $h!% !
