Luckily the North Yorkshire Moors are not too far away for me. It's the only place I know in this part of the country where you can have solitude and won't hear a car etc. Not many folk really camp here because it can be brutal and very changeable, they like most "campers" prefer the "official" sites. I should be thankful because these nuggets would probably get lost, yes you can get lost because there are very few roads crossing the high moors with lots of land between them.
