Sad  Funeral for a friend.
Oh well, after nearly thirty years of good service my Mongol Bow genghis has finally drawn his last arrow. The bottom limb has developed a twist, with the wooden siyah pointing off at an angle

TBH mate it's lasted far longer than I thought it would, and I have put it through some heavy use (as would be expected). It's a testimony to the quality of the Bowyer that it lasted this long. Keeping a Bow that can not be shot, is like keeping a Racehorse that can't run, so I shall build a pyre and send him to the Archery Gods.
