RE: China Virus Threat 2020
Doctors over here are beginning to ask what is going on. Way more hype than necessary.

I read one post where the doctor claimed that you could not call something a pandemic until more people died of the disease than died of infected hangnails in the same period.

RE: China Virus Threat 2020
The tinfoil hat crowd, Infowars, Natural News et al are seeding fear and panic claiming that it is a biowar agent run amok and that the Chinese government is concealing the fact that it is much worse than they would want us to believe. They run every bit of seeded propaganda they pick up from RT and other gray sources, wild tales of the PLA shooting people in the street who violate quarantine and people dropping dead in the streets by the thousands, such that the crematories lack sufficient capacity and corpses are being burned to generate electricity...

I will not post the links here as this stuff is too far out even by Alex Jone's standards...

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — As many experts question the veracity of China's statistics for the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak, Tencent over the weekend appeared to inadvertently release what is potentially the actual number of infections and deaths — which are far higher than official figures, but eerily in line with predictions from a respected scientific journal.

As early as Jan. 26, netizens were reporting that Tencent, on its webpage titled "Epidemic Situation Tracker," briefly showed data on the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in China that was much higher than official estimates, before suddenly switching to lower numbers. Hiroki Lo, a 38-year-old Taiwanese beverage store owner, that day reported that Tencent and NetEase were both posting "unmodified statistics," before switching to official numbers in short order...

On late Saturday evening (Feb. 1), the Tencent webpage showed confirmed cases of the Wuhan virus in China as standing at 154,023, 10 times the official figure at the time. It listed the number of suspected cases as 79,808, four times the official figure.
The number of cured cases was only 269, well below the official number that day of 300. Most ominously, the death toll listed was 24,589, vastly higher than the 300 officially listed that day.

Moments later, Tencent updated the numbers to reflect the government's "official" numbers that day. Netizens noticed that Tencent has on at least three occasions posted extremely high numbers, only to quickly lower them to government-approved statistics.

I don't trust my government figures in most things why should I trust a government like China?

Some of the "fringe" (conspiracy spreading) news outlets in India are saying that it is a biowar experiment gone awry and they are talking about sending troops to the China border to prevent diseased infiltrators from infecting their frontier regions.

As others have said we cannot believe the figures coming from China, we will have to use information from other countries to get to the truth on the severity and infection rate of the disease

From what i gather around 85% of cases are mild, 15% are serious, mortality rate is 2%, mainly for vulnerable people with other health problems. It appears this strain of coronavirus can cause viral pneumonia, for which antibiotics are of no use, neither are viral treatments for flu, hospital treatment is to ease breathing and give fluids.

Common sense and good person hygiene seem to be the best way to avoid infection and keep away from crowded places.

While we all look at this lot .........take a look at the Baltic dry index ,dropping like a stone , now would be a good time to review the small print in your banks terms and conditions ( take a goooood look ) what ever you believe the implications are regarding this virus , the bigger picture will be global and disruption of goods and supply ,in short .....many countries will feel the pain along with associated costs , this is a fantastic opportunity for the main banks to blame the collapse of their system on something else other than themselves .

All the things , All the reasons we prep for may well be put to the test very quickly ,sooner than we think ! Just because there’s a presidential election coming in November does not mean that much ....they want Trump Out ! By any means possible ! Keep a close eye preppers !

Yes SS, the financial implications the virus will certainly affect many of the economies of the developed world.

Did anyone put percentage of their funds into physical gold or any other precious metal ?, the time honoured way to store of wealth when the economy is vulnerable.
