Coconut oil
Ive been looking into buying cooking oil (Veg/Sunflower) this weekend and the shelf life seems to be only about 1 yr.
Coconut oil seems to be a better alternative. It lasts much longer, tastes better and has loads of other benefits. I don't know about the cost yet, but I recone the longer shelf life alone must make it a better option...and no it doesn't taste of coconuts ! http://www.organicfact.net

RE: Coconut oil
I use Coconut oil as a beauty product, depends what your using the oil for? I don't think this one would hold to well at high temperatures, be ok in cakes, Rapeseed oil is good also a good olive oil will store for 3/4 years, Rapeseed is good at high temperature and as a video on here some where shows, makes great candles.

RE: Coconut oil
Oil, like everything else, varies in storage time depending on conditions. 1 year sound a bit short for me. I don't think that is the case for these oils.
