Depends how high I need to be? I'm a bit confused, how high 250ft or over 700?

Manchester and my bol are between roughly 400 ft 1,778 ft above sea-level respectivly.
So if floodings a problem, again why I chose my bol, I gain over 1, 300 feet altitude over my home location.
Anybody gets flooded out your welcome here, no problem just bring some goodies...Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin
seems like he was saying 250 ft minimum safety height, if it was with a 150ft wave just to be on the safe side.
So Manchester at 400 ft min is fine, my bols over 1,700 ft a.s.l. so woo hoo!!
482ft is the highest point in Essex, if you find higher than that let me know, the village is called Chrishall, it is 30 min drive for me.
Stoke = 1000 Ft above Sea Level, Guess im not getting wet :-)
Currently (according to electronic GPS thingy) 138 ft above sea level.

Highest point on Orkney, Ward Hill on Hoy 1,560ft above- 34 miles away on another island.

To get me above 250ft, 19 miles.

Might have to start planning a Bug-Out-Boat.

I'm 185ft but could be up the hill in minutes that's 235ft, 10minute drive puts me 299ft, half hour 385ft ish and chrishall an hour for me then, chilterns are really high almost 900ft? an hour in the other direction.

I'm to tired to do the maths, 100miles in land needs to be so high 250ft ? so if you were only 30-50 miles inland your in big trouble
Stupid Bristol.
Have boat, will float.
