as someone who has just had a flat tyre, in Tesco's car park' i ask the following question, how many of you could go out to your vehicle now and change a wheel, with the nuts being put on in the garage with an air pump, could you even get the wheel off with the little bitty wheel wrench that comes with your cars tool kit??? cos i couldnt!!!
Yes i have 2 ways firstly a 3/4 sq dr socket and breaker bar, secondly my vehicle is a fully equipped expedition vehicle it has a built in air compressor that can run air tools as in the the air wrench used in garages.
Yes I could go out now and change all 4 wheels and even the 5th hanging on the back door.
Just paid out for new tyres all round and then bloody truck gets an engine problem, so it is off the road for a while, just bought my son his own business which came with an escort van so I can use that for year and half until he passes driving test and is legal to run the business.
Last truck I had after I bought new tyres, gearbox went, thing is I said to the wife I bet this truck will break down now we getting all new tyres, same week the curse hit us, mad that.
Whats the problem with your vehicle W&C?
i'm having new set of tyres fitted on friday, after todays debaccle i'm not taking any chances, rear tyre has a slit in side wall, so the sooner the better.
Yup, no probs changing the tyres. I've even got the key for the locking wheel-nuts in the car now (i think...)

I just got back from test running it and it was fine, let me explain what happened last time I drove it and it also happened to my wife when she drove it.
First of all its been off the road for about 4 weeks needed a jump today to get it running, the fault when I drove it was loss of power at the same time I accelerated to overtake a tractor it was like it was being held back, I just managed to get past tractor and all the way home it was holding back and at lights or give way would stall and almost stall, Same thing when wife drove it.
My thoughts were maybe petrol filter, coil pack on one of the 4 cylinders has been suggested to me, sticky valve was another someone suggested, that’s about how far I got into it.
What I don't understand is how bad it was when I drove it last time to how good it ran today.

Its a 2.3 petrol engine.
yes a socket a breaker bar and a lenth of scaffold pipe kept in all the time
i need a scaffold bar because i broke my hand when i was a kid and can't get any pull? lol
