When your English you dont need to hype up or make a fuss about our national day, we have achieved so much we dont need to blow our own trumpets, every time over half the world opens its mouth to speak or they pick up a pen they re-enforce just how great England is. Irish, Welsh, Scot, Canuck, Merkin, Aussie, Kiwi, Indian, Nigerian, South African,Zimbabwean, Indian, Maltese, etc etc etc all speak in Enmglish and write in English even when they are saying how much they hate us.
St George was the patron saint of LOADS of countries. Like India, Butan, Papa New Guinea, Portugal, and loads of others! The thing is, he was Turkish and Christian. So if he was alive today, he'd probably be working in a kebab shop.
