Natwest has had some problems with their online banking, whereby some balances were not updated overnight, resulting in branches staying open late till 7pm today.

There are still some accounts affected (even as I type) so would encourage anyone with Natwest account to maybe get some funds out at a branch to cover themselves over the weekend in the event of any ongoing issues.

it did say(somewhere..i forget where) that it only affected people who did not have a previous balance in their accounts, in other words people who live from paycheck to paycheck and dont put anything back for emergencies.

So it would appear the BACS system is at fault. Could be a pain for money transfers as well.
